Discovering the Right Place to Get Started in Anything

For anyone interested in getting started on a project they ask themselves or someone else, “Where is the best place to begin this?” I’ve done it. You’ve done it. We’re going to do it again.

The part I keep in mind each time is that every place I’m start is the wrong place. That’s the experience of life. Accept it.

The only way to get started is the wrong way. There is no right way. Wherever you start, you’ll find yourself lost, confused, disturbed, unsettled, baffled, and maybe enticed.

THIS IS COMPLETELY NORMAL. Ride those emotions. Feel the waves as you surf your way into beginning something new. This is the way.

Every project is different. When embarking on a writing project, it’s best to begin with a general overview of what you want to project. That way, you avoid writer’s block as you attempt to wrestle your ideas into concrete form. Other projects, more physical ones, call for blueprints often. A DIY home improvement project will go best if you are following the paperwork. All projects are unique, however.
